Saturday was warm (near 60F) and sunny, a perfect day to get outside and run some errands. At the grocery store, we had to stop and say hi to the lobsters (I think Josh could use a trip to the aquarium soon) and one of them crawled right up and was looking at us. I

Another Friday night at the hockey game! Providence lost to Worcester in overtime, which meant we had to hear it from the Sharks fans sitting behind us. Sigh. But we had fun, anyway. 😉

As I was looking into pre-ordering Frozen for Joshua (Who am I kidding? It’s for me.) today, I realized that it couldn’t have come out in a better winter. I almost captioned this, “That’s Enough, Elsa,” but I honestly don’t mind the snow. It was about 15F this morning, and I didn’t even feel cold

We’re starting to thaw out. We’ll get there, eventually.

As I was driving to pick up Joshua tonight, I looked up in the sky and noticed that there were geese everywhere. I could still hear them honking when I arrived at my mother’s house. She told me they have been flying around all day. It looks like they’re heading back North, but I hope

The weather dropped back down into the 30s today, but there were still plenty of birds chirping, snow melting, and patches of grass appearing. We also set the clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night, so we were able to enjoy more sunlight this evening, which is definitely a good thing.

Joshua told me that the snowmen decorations around the house were bringing bad luck. Spring would never come with them around, he said, and boy is he ready for Winter to be over. With St. Patrick’s Day only a week or so away, I agreed it was time to break out the Irish and Easter
