Despite temperatures in the 20s today, the sun felt very warm. I soaked it up as much as I could, even driving with the windows open for a bit when my car warmed up.

The living room window at my mother’s house, her lovely decoration, and the frozen landscape. I tried really hard to get a photo of the trees looking frozen, and icicles hanging from the power lines, but had no luck. It was just gorgeous in the sunlight.

There’s not much farming going on during this time of year.

The sun felt great today, nice and warm, and there were beautiful blue skies. Tomorrow, we will be getting more snow, with another storm expected for Sunday. I predict more snow photos in the near future.

We got a new shipment of snow in on Monday. Everything was covered in a thin coating of white. Just gorgeous.

Sunday was Groundhog Day and the Super Bowl. The groundhog supposedly saw his shadow, so we’ll have six more weeks of winter. Was there ever any doubt after the polar vortex took over this continent this year? Sunday was unusually warm, though. It was about 56 degrees Fahrenheit when I looked at one point in

He’s just flying across the ice with his new (properly sized) skates.

The sun is staying out a little later these days. I’m looking forward to getting to see more sunsets.
