Mom and Josh baked some blueberry bread this afternoon. Definitely not gluten-free, but exactly what I wanted tonight. And the strawberries make it totally healthy! Actually, I ate too much gluten today, and have been eating badly in general. My stomach is mad at me, and I’ve gained a few pounds. Time to go back

I did one of those photographic no-nos and took these shots in the middle of a very bright (and super hot, I might add) day. Pretty flowers, but I have no idea what they are called. 🙂 They just bloomed over the weekend.

We celebrated Lily’s 8th birthday today, more for Josh’s enjoyment than hers. We gave her a stuffed bird cat toy (filled with catnip – her fave), sang “Happy Birthday,” and let her enjoy some leftovers (chicken, which she practically inhaled). This probably makes us a bit strange, but she’s a good cat, and we’re glad
