It was a gorgeous day, so I brought Josh to the zoo. It was pretty warm, so we found a nice shady spot near the penguins. I think the two of us could have stayed there all day, watching them. He actually asked to go back to see them after we saw some other animals. […]

The sun came out for the first time all week this afternoon, and Josh and I are starting to feel better. We went outside for a few minutes to get some fresh air. Go away, germs.

Josh and I stayed home, sick, today. We spent most of the day napping together, along with Penguin (or “Mama,” as Josh calls it). Unfortunately, this looks very grainy because it was dark in the room — looked a lot better on my phone. 🙂

Ran to Target for diapers and cold meds, and came home with this. All of the new Cars 2 toys were out. Josh has been wanting a Mater car, so he was pretty excited. I have to admit, I was pretty excited to see him excited, too.

I thought this was supposed to bloom around Christmas, but it’s blooming now. At any rate, it looks pretty.

Poor little guy just wanted to go outside and play today. We went out for about 15 minutes, but it was cold and started to sprinkle.

She was just sitting there, looking so cute.

I remember when we used to prop him up in the corner of the couch to get him to sit up. We’d use the Boppy so he wouldn’t fall to the side. Now he climbs onto it by himself to sit and play with his toys. He’s getting so big.

We had a day “off” at work today to do some community service. My team’s project was to help Save the Bay install these markers near drains in the surrounding area, to remind people that what they do on land has an impact on the ocean.
