The tree leaves around here are finally starting to change color and fall, very late for New England. We had temperatures near 70 on Monday. Hard to believe we had snow a couple of days before Halloween.

Put my Eeyore Thanksgiving decor up, ’cause that’s how I roll. "Thanks for noticing me."

Josh and I saw this squirrel while taking a walk today. He just sat in that tree, nice and still, and waited for us to walk away before he finished gathering some food.

I spent most of Saturday cleaning the house in preparation for some friends to come over for dinner. While I was cleaning, I rediscovered this potpourri. I loved the colors, and decided it would make a really nice photograph.

I didn’t get too many good photos at the game on Friday, but I did like this action shot.

The sunset was extremely vivid and beautiful — purples and pinks and reddish-oranges. I wish I could have captured it better, but I did enjoy it while it lasted.

Josh wasn’t feeling too well today, but thankfully, the cold waited a day so it didn’t ruin his Halloween. He fell asleep on the way home from my mom’s tonight, and I couldn’t resist a photo of my cutie.

It was a blast trick-or-treating with Josh this year. He really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood with his cousins, and even seemed to enjoy his costume. He was also excited to get all of these treats. Maybe we’ll even get him to try a peanut butter cup! Ha ha, we’ll see about that!

Apparently, that was the official hashtag on Twitter for yesterday’s storm. We got mainly rain and sleet in our area, with just an inch or so of snow. Up in Douglas, our friends and former neighbors reported 9 inches of wet, heavy snow. Add to that strong winds and trees still full of leaves, and
