We went to Schartner’s Farm to take a hayride, walk through the corn maze, and pick out some pumpkins and mums. We had fun, but it never fails — every year when we do this, it is unseasonably warm. High 80s today. We could have gone to the beach instead!

This lovely harbor was the backdrop to my step-cousin’s wedding on Saturday. It was a beautiful evening; they could not have asked for better weather or a more gorgeous place to be married. Drinks, delicious food, and dancing to an Irish band were the other highlights. A wonderful night for two amazing people.

It was opening night for the Providence Bruins tonight. It was great to be back at the Dunk and to see everyone. It actually felt like I never left, but we were there a couple of weeks ago to see the Boston Black and Gold game. I was excited to see David Aebischer in net

Josh wanted to "see the animals" today, so I took him to the zoo for a bit. All of the animals were out and playing — even the kangaroos were out hopping near the fence, which I never see. This little pig, however, was just enjoying the sun, soaking it all in.

We left a jalapeno on the counter when we went on vacation, and came home to a dried red chili.

It was our last day in the parks. We went to Animal Kingdom in the morning, so Josh could see the animals. We went on the safari and two walking paths to see elephants, giraffes, hippos, gorillas, tigers, and many other animals. The hippos were huge; I knew they would be big, but didn’t realize
