Is this Heaven? No, it’s Schartner’s Farms. Had a hankering for fresh corn on the cob so I stopped by after work. Mmm, it was delicious!

Josh and I walked in the CVS Downtown 5K in Providence this morning. Well, he rode in the jogging stroller while I walked. We had a great time, and I caught this photo of the skyline overlooking Waterplace Park before we left.

Traveled to West Springfield, MA to the Eastern States Exposition (aka The Big E) for a day of eating and drinking with some friends. We had representatives from RI, CT, MA and more. I was looking forward to the apple crisp in the Vermont building, but ended up going with the blueberry crisp from Maine.

I got this at a restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Thought it was so cute, I just put it on display in my kitchen.

Brilliant sunset tonight; it’s too bad my windshield is so dirty!

Our garden has finally yielded some of these bad boys. Now we have tomatoes, cilantro, chives and jalapenos. Time to make the salsa!

I took Joshua to see more animals today, at our local zoo. Since it was the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, I wanted to get some photos of the bald eagles. In this one, it looked to me like the birds were observing a moment of silence for the victims of the attacks.

Road trip to Boston today! We took Josh for the first time and headed over to the New England Aquarium. Like Mama, he loved the penguins, but we also enjoyed watching this shark in the big tank. We watched the shark again later and he just kept staring… I think we were making him hungry.
