After we finished our Christmas decorating this afternoon (Day 3 of the decorating, that is), Joshua begged me to bring him to a store so he could get a Santa costume. We found this in one of our bins and I told him that would have to be good enough for now. Crazy kid.

After a long hiatus, I was able to catch a sunset tonight. Unfortunately, the photos don’t look as good on my laptop as they did on my iPhone, but I was too lazy to take photo of something else. It’s been a lazy weekend for an exhausted Jessica.

It was a low-key Thanksgiving this year, and that was just fine with me. I have so much to be thankful for, especially this little nugget of joy. 🙂

The temperature around here has been in the 20s (Fahrenheit) for the past couple of days, and the pond is starting to get a nice layer of ice. It is supposed to warm up later this week, so it won’t last long, but it’s a sure sign that Winter is on its way.
