Another Friday night, another hockey game. I love my weekly (or so) escape from reality, my time to hang out with some friends while we enjoy our favorite sport and dinner afterwards. Even though I was (still) sick that night, I went to the game, anyway. It had been an especially hard and frustrating week,

I don’t think anyone around here knew it was supposed to snow today. This was the scene at lunchtime. It was a small storm, but it looks like we might be getting more on Monday.

I like how the first photo gives the illusion of looking out over the water from the shore. It’s actually a field covered in snow. The sunset colors were beautiful; I wish I could have captured them better.

We had a busy day, out and about. These are a couple of photos I snapped on the back roads of my town. And yes, despite days of rain and temps above 50, we still have snow!

I haven’t been feeling well, so Joshua figured it was time I went to see a doctor. He looks a bit concerned, but don’t worry — I’ll be fine. Also, the driveway ice has melted. Josh got some splash time in, and we both enjoyed the warmer weather (in the 50s) and fresh air.
